LEICA R5s R5-s Prototyp vintage original Versuchsmuster
Muster einer R5s, nie in Serie produziert.
Verhält sich wie die R4s zur R4, also eingeschränkte Programmfunktionen.
Die Kamera wurde nicht in Serie gebaut, Leica brachte stattdessen die R-E auf den Markt.
Verwendet wurde eine nicht vergebene Seriennummer aus dem ersten R4 Produktionsjahr, die Nummer befindet sich aber auf dem Kameraboden (nicht wie hinten bei der R4).
Die Kamera ist funktional, aber Verkauf selbstverständlich als reines Sammlerstück, keine Gewährleistung.

LEICA R5s R5-s Prototype vintage original sample never produced
Sample of an R5s, never produced in series.
Similar relation to R5 as R4s to R4, means reduced exposure options mainly.
At the end, the camera was not produced, Leica produced the R-E instead.
The serial number is an unused number from first production year of R4, but engraved on camera bottom (instead on back rim as with R4).
The camera is functional, but sale of course as collector's item, no warranty.
On the 2nd picture you see the camera mentioned in the Laney "Leica-bible", copyright by Laney.
