Small black spots and bumps are natural; they are coming from the enameled process, when the bath of paint infuses into the cast iron is normal to see tiny black spots (cast iron); specially on edges and any part close to ridges. Micro bumps are also natural coming from the enameled process; they should be small as well. They are just normal, tiny imperfections caused during the manufacturing process (but still first quality).
