adapter ring is specifically designed for
high-resolution B4 2/3-inch lenses to be mounted on modern Super35 cameras.
It expands the field of view by 2.6x, allowing a maximum imaging area of 29mm.
The optical system optimizes color shifts typical of B4 lenses. The converter
allows a maximum aperture of f/1.4. It consists of 5 groups with 9
high-definition glass elements made from high refractive index and low
dispersion glass, optimized using advanced optical design software to achieve
maximum contrast transmission and minimal aberrations. Special software was
used for tolerance and stray light analysis during the design phase to
eliminate ghosting and reflections, ensuring optimal imaging performance.
Note:
To use
this adapter, you need an external battery, a power connection cable for the B4
lens, or a power interface on the movie camera. The B4 lens can talent use
servo-controlled zoom with these setups.
