This is the sixth installment in the popular "Off the Soundboard" series of official live bootlegs from the legendary rock band KISS. This release captures the concert held at Hemisfair Arena in San Antonio, Texas, on December 3, 1985. This live recording features the band's four-piece lineup—Paul Stanley (guitar, vocals), Gene Simmons (bass, vocals), Eric Carr (drums, vocals), and Bruce Kulick (guitar, vocals)—performing then-new songs like "Tears Are Fallin'" and "Ah! All Night" during the US tour supporting the album "Asylum," released in September of that year. This is the first soundboard recording from KISS's "Asylum Tour," which officially welcomed guitarist Bruce Kulick as a member.
"Off the Soundboard: San Antonio, TX 1985" will be released overseas as a 3LP online and digitally only, but the CD will only be released in Japan. This is a special item that KISS has given permission to release exclusively in Japan for the Japanese fans who have been enthusiastically supporting the band for over half a century since their debut in 1974.
