The textbook provides various types of texts and text tasks for working through the content blocks: “Human Life”, “Learning” and “Recreation”. The course consists of 12 modules, in which the teacher has the opportunity to train receptive, reproductive and productive skills and abilities of foreign students and at the same time control the level of formation of their speech competence. Each module includes a lexical topic, grammatical material, communicative situation. Each module is completed by a minimum dictionary and a reference with a list of basic language formulas for expressing various communicative intentions. The textbook is supplemented with an audio CD.

Intended for foreign students of higher educational institutions of humanitarian faculties (level B1–B2).
