The 1972 Area 12-E Conference was hosted by Walika Lodge, and took place on the weekend of April 7–9.
This conference was the last major event for Area 12-E before the consolidation of Walika Lodge No.228 and Tamet Lodge No.225 was completed in the spring of 1972. The merger of the lodges spawned Malibu Lodge No.566.
Walika Lodge No.228 was the 7th Lodge to be formed in California. It served the San Fernando Valley, the Northern portion of Los Angeles County, and the Kern County communities of Rosamond, Edwards, and Edwards Air Force Base.
I have had this in my collection for 53 years, along with other Boy Scout & Order of the Arrow collectibles.
Time to let everything go. I am trying to get enough money to buy a Leica lens. Trying in my "old age" to pursue my photography hobby.
