Attention, US buyers.
Please refrain from purchasing items listed on my store.
Currently, it is not possible to ship parcels from Europe to the US; postal operators are not accepting shipments.
I apologize for the inconvenience, but this is beyond my control, and neither of you.
I hope the situation will be resolved soon.
To assess the condition of things I use a scale :
NEW-MINT-EXCELLENT (+ -)-GOOD WORKING-AS IS.
The items, exhibited here, have professional service, in each specific case I usually indicate the work performed.
I have original spare parts, necessary tools and devices, both purchased and special ones, which were provided by factories for warranty and post-warranty repairs in the USSR.
Of course, I have technical documentation for repairing Soviet equipment, although I have no need to use it, since I have been working in the service since 1986.
The specifics of Soviet (and not only) equipment of this age do not exclude problems after repair.
Please treat with understanding, I am always ready to help with advice or action in solving the problem.
Soviet Zorki-4K with Jupiter-8 35-mm rangefinder film camera.
1975 year of production.
The condition is visible in the detailed photos.
The camera after a full service.
It had been serviced before, but that was a cost-effective attempt, involving
tightening the shutter shutter in the hopes of ensuring proper shutter operation with "frozen" lubricant.
In this camera, this resulted in deformation of the shutter component, with no result.
The last photo shows the extent to which the camera must be disassembled to access all the mechanisms.
Of course, after the service, the camera must be properly reassembled and adjusted; the lens also requires cleaning and replacement of the lens lubricant.
Therefore, the price for a camera with service and a warranty doesn't seem high.
The lens has some scratches on the front glass, but these do not affect the optical performance in any way.
