A matriculated etched landscape print of the Moore House,
Yorktown, Virginia by Delaware born painter and printmaker Robert Shaw (1859
-1912). It belongs to a series of etchings about American landmarks that Shaw made
for the United States Historical Society.
This limited-edition print was produced in 1904. It bears
the artist’s pencil signature on the lower left. The image area is in fair to good
condition. The margin has minor wear, tear, and handling marks. The wove paper
has age-related toning.
