This is a completely refurbished original Sega Game Gear. It has been completely re capped with RetroSix ceramic caps, and tested for functionality. I have replaced the screen with the latest RetroSix v3.1 screen that has all the latest technology. It does take AA batteries, but with the new screen, it is expected to have a play time for about 10 hours before you need new batteries. I have added a new USB-C power board that allows you to plug into power and not use your batteries. The shell has also been replaced with a clear sapphire blue shell by RetroSix, with clear smoke black buttons, and a black tempered glass screen cover. I have added a LED light under all the buttons to show off the transparent effects of the shell and buttons The speaker is also replaced with a new RetroSix speaker. This is a blast from the 1990's with upgraded technology, so you can enjoy your childhood again. 

Be aware of other cheaper versions of refurbished Game Gears on eBay. They say retro six ceramic recaps, but then put cheap Chinese AliExpress screens in them. These screens fail easily, and consume lots of power. Stay with a good quality brand, like RetroSix. This Game Gear is 100% Retro Six parts. This is expected to last you years to come.
