My name is Mark Emery and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoy working in several different types of art: contemporary abstracts with different themes, pen and ink holiday cards and, most recently, a series of smaller architectural landscapes. These are older houses that used to exist, but were torn down to construct today's office buildings and skyscrapers. They are purposely painted in white and light pastels to evoke a ghostly feeling of what used to be.
The title of this work is "Ghostly Landscape #3" which measures 12"t x 16"w x 0.5"d.
