1 x BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE JAPANESE MINO ORIBE-YAKI (ORIBE WARE) MATCHA CHAWAN TEA BOWL WITH BEAUTIFULLY HANDPAINTED WITH TWO DIFFERENT MOTIFS ON OPPOSING SIDES OF THE BOWL.
BOWL HAS INSCRIBED STAMP.

Bowl has no cracks, repairs or damage. Bowl is preowned and may have some minor wear and tear, minor flea bites on base of bowl maybe when the bowl was made, may have some slight fading. Please view photos.

This beautiful Oribe-yaki bowl is of the Ao-Oribe type which means partially covered with green glaze. Featuring light beige clay body with transparent glaze, along with beautifully hand painted motifs on opposing sides of the bowl. The bowl is organically finished off with free-flowing drips of distinctive green glaze.

This beautiful bowl is Wheel-thrown and hand shaped, kiln fired multiple times for deep glaze finish.
The organic final product is a one-of-a-kind work of art of that celebrates wabi-sabi which embodies the organic form of imperfection. Each bowl is unique piece of art.
