Beautiful antique Art Nouveau jewelry casket or trinket box made by the Weidlich Brothers Manufacturing Company (W.B. Mfg. Co.). 

* The box is crafted from cast metal and originally had silver or gold plating, which has worn off over time, giving it a natural patina finish.  Please examine photographs carefully. There is some slight pitting or corrosion on the surface of the box particularly top right hand side. And also in other areas as shown in photos. This is only observable with a magnified image.

* It features a hinged lid and sits on four knob feet. 

* The design includes a figural repoussé motif of a woman's profile surrounded by flowers and scrollwork, a common style for the era.
