Rosie was born around 1930 near the sacred site Granites. She is part of the first group of Lajamanu artists who set out to paint for the public in 1986. Her work alternates between intricate dotted circular motifs and bold gestural brush strokes.
Exhibited internationally and throughout Australia, Napurrurla has artwork that is held in a collection by the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV).
