Beautiful vintage hand-carved wooden bust of an elderly man wearing a hat and smoking a pipe. This classic Alpine / Tyrolean–style carving is made from solid wood, mounted on a light wooden base. Nicely detailed beard, hat and facial expression.

The piece is likely European (Switzerland, Austria or South Tyrol), dating from around the 1950s–1970s.
