Originally released in 1987, In the Dark became the Grateful Dead’s biggest commercial success, featuring their only Top 10 hit, “Touch of Grey.” This 2024 reissue is newly remastered by Grammy-winning engineer David Glasser and produced by David Lemieux. Pressed on black vinyl, it captures the band’s late-era studio energy with live-in-the-room feel, recorded at Marin County Civic Auditorium.
