The special exhibition ‘Rei Kawakubo/ Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between’ held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from May 4, 2017.
This exhibition brought together 150 pieces of women's wear designed by Rei Kawakubo, spanning from the early 1980s to her most recent collections.
It thoroughly documents the journey of Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garçons, who consistently offers people opportunities to rethink fashion while defining the “aesthetics” of this era, through on-site coverage.
