This antique hand-colored insurance map Robert Smith Ale Brewing Co. of Philadelphia PA was crafted compliments of W.W. Lee & Son. It is similar to the Sandborn Fire Insurance plat maps (paper applied to linen.) The drawing provides detailed information on the property's physical characteristics, fire protection and utilities, and indicated a building's footprint, construction materials, number of stories and use. It measures approximately 27" X 38", and will ship in its original hard cardboard storage/shipping tube.
