VINTAGE CHRISTMAS SANTA PLANTER

Adorable vintage hand painted porcelain Santa planter or candy dish measuring about 5-1/2" tall, 3-3/4" deep and 3-1/4" wide. Featuring a full figure Santa holding his little arms over his large belly (too many cookies!), back is open for filling with a plant, wrapped candies or even standing candy canes. Hand painted with charming detail - love his round, rosy cheeks and long eye lashes! Complete with MADE IN JAPAN paper label, condition is very nice with no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage other than paint chipping, rubbing and loss -- especially around the edges of the opening on the back as shown - does not detract a bit. Think this big guy is just as sweet as can be -- so kitschy and fun - charming addition to any holiday collection or display!
