Propagation & Growing Tips
Fill a small pot with moist, well-drained soil.
Insert the cutting 5–8 cm deep, keeping the rest of the stem above the soil.
Cover the pot with a clear plastic bag to maintain humidity.
Place in a warm (20–28°C), bright area out of direct sunlight.
Keep soil slightly moist, not soggy.
For better success rate, grow in moist soil and keep in a shaded position for the first few weeks.
When new leaves start to grow, remove the plastic bag but keep the pot in the shade for a few more days before moving to full sun.
Once established, water regularly and feed monthly with mild fertiliser.
Harvest when fruit turns pale yellow with purple stripes and feels slightly soft.
