This is a new set. It has been packaged away for many years. It looks like there is some discoloration on the metal. Also on the book ends. Looks like the metal may be separating from the risen. Please see all pictures selling as is no returns. This is still a wonderful piece. The stapler and the tape dispenser was removed many years ago and used. Did not have a big enough desk to use all of it so this part is brand new.
