This is a first generation, Graphite II rod--the one with that sweet casting swing that vanished in later models.

Sage didn't make a lot of these 5 weights because the 2-4 wt LLs were more popular, so this is a real rarity. The perfect rod for fishing Hendrickson, Flav, or October Caddis hatches on your favorite small river.

Rod is in excellent + condition with an up-locking nickel silver reel seat and a clean cork grip. Just a touch of oxidation on the steel internal hood of the reel seat (hidden beneath the flared cork grip). Very few minor scratches. Rod is really in very nice shape.
