This is an AMAZING VINTAGE copy of "The Picture of Dorian Gray" that was printed in 1944 with World War II printing constrictions.  The book is a hardcover with its original dust jacket.  It has wartime information in several places, including a quote from Franklin D. Roosevelt.  It is a PIECE OF US HISTORY!  It is the first printing by Tower Books in the United States.  This is a RARE PIECE!  It is in GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION!  There is some wear to the hardcover (see photos) and the dust jacket has a few tears and rips (see photos).
