This is a 1968 The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation 11th February 1968 Five Hundred Dollars currency note. The banknote was issued by "The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd., London. The front of the note has a brown and blue design on multicolored underprint with the image Sir Thomas Jackson within an oval shape to the right. The note also depicts the coat of arms of Hong Kong at the top center with the denomination spelled out in the center. The reverse of the note is blue with the image of the Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation headquarters building in Honk Kong in the center and the bust head of a woman to the left. The front shows two signatures, the date, and the serial number. This note has the serial number 800877 displayed twice in black on the front and four times on the back, all with the prefix "K". The banknote has a watermark, located in the oval to the left of the front, of the head of a woman facing right. The banknote has been certified by PMG with a grade of 58 EPQ Choice About Uncirculated and is a great find for anyone looking to add a unique piece of world currency to their collection.
