The LCD1602 I2C Display Module is a 16x2 character LCD with an integrated PCF8574 I2C interface, designed for compact text output in microcontroller projects.
It operates at 5 V and displays characters in a 5x8 dot matrix on a blue background with white backlight (or green background with blue backlight, depending on variant).

The I2C interface reduces wiring to four pins—VCC, GND, SDA, and SCL—allowing address configuration via solder jumpers (default 0x27, range 0x20–0x27).
Contrast is adjustable via an on-board 10 kΩ potentiometer.
The module measures 80 mm x 36 mm x 12 mm and uses the HD44780-compatible controller for standard text commands.
Character set supports ASCII and custom symbols, with a viewing area of 64.5 mm x 16 mm. Operating temperature ranges from 0°C to +50°C, and current draw is approximately 2 mA without backlight, up to 40 mA with backlight enabled.
