Delightful Antique Austrian Edelweiss Carved Wood Needle Case c1930.

The beautifully made needle case has been decorated with carved edelweiss in relief and heavily textured ends that are finished with a turned finial. The case is formed as a cylinder with a pull off lid.

 The case has some minor wear, the lid is a little loose and the very end tip of one finial is missing.

 The needle case is offered in good antique condition. It measures about 13.2cm by 2cm.

 A rare and delightful collectable.
