Direction to Use
Preparation:
Measure the required length using a flexible millimeter ruler
Position the ruler between the central buccal groove of the first molar and the center of the buccal face of the canine
Select the appropriate size for each side (23mm, 25mm, or 27mm) based on the distance measured
Installation:
Clean the bonding surfaces of the teeth where the distalizer will be attached (molar and canine/premolar)
Attach the polymer base to the canine or maxillary premolar and the metal base to the first or second molar
Adjust the flexible rod if needed to ensure proper fit and comfort
Securely bond both ends using dental adhesive to ensure the correct positioning of the device
Operation:
Apply elastics as needed for optimal treatment progress and to help with distalization
Ensure the patient understands how to place elastics on the button-shaped couplers for added comfort
Follow-Up:
Regularly monitor the progress of the distalization during follow-up appointments
Adjust the distalizer as necessary based on treatment progress
Completion:
