Precautions
1. Input voltage must exceed output voltage; maintaining a 1V+ differential is optimal. Do not reverse polarity, as this will burn the board.
2. Disconnect power before wiring to prevent sparking at high voltages, which may damage or destroy the chip.

Use sufficiently thick wiring to handle rated currents. Protect inductive loads to prevent excessive back EMF exceeding the chip's tolerance.
