Full Description:

Vintage Marx American Airlines Electra Flagship / Astrojet 990 jet plane toy made by Louis Marx & Co. in the late 1950s–early 1960s. This silver-gray plastic model captures the early jetliner era with raised window detailing and original factory decals reading ELECTRA FLAGSHIP on the fuselage, AMERICAN AIRLINES on the wings, and Astrojet 990 on the tail fins.

The plane measures about 12 inches long, 12 inches wide, and 3 inches tall. It has one rear wheel missing, but the mounting bracket remains intact and strong. There’s a light 1/8-inch seam line visible along the fuselage joint, but it’s tight and secure—not cracked or separated. All decals appear to be present and legible, showing just light age toning and a few small rubs.

This is a solid, display-worthy vintage piece with great mid-century airline appeal. Ideal for collectors of Marx toys, aviation memorabilia, or classic American Airlines models.
