Honoring the 1989 Bicentennial celebration of the French Revolution. The Revolution was instrumental in shaping French political culture, and each commemoration has born the mark of important historical and political debates.
Puma Custom 985 design handmade in 1989 and an integral knife design. Serial #: 23981, indicating a knife made in the 1st half of year 1989
The steel part of the handle is an integral one piece design made completely from stainless steel, no bolsters or liners. New Customs are nickel silver which are much easier to manufacture. Scales are Ebony Exotic hard wood.
6 3/4" long open and 4" closed. Comes with original and correct wooden dovetail joint box with foam lining and original hardware. Stamped on the box is the Puma Label with 32 0985 No:288. FR. REV. in sharpie over top
