This Luxman L-505Z amplifier is a Japan domestic model and is designed for AC 100V (50/60Hz) only.

Please note that it cannot be used directly with U.S. 120V outlets. Although the plug shape may physically fit, the voltage difference can cause damage.

To use this amplifier safely in the United States, a step-down transformer (120V → 100V) with sufficient capacity (recommended 500W or higher) is required.

Power cord replacement alone does not solve the voltage issue.
