70s Wrangler Blanket Lined Denim Jacket

"1970-71"

Judging from the tag, this is the first jacket to transition from a white tag to a black tag.

It is said that in 1970 both white and black tags existed.

This jacket is from that period.

The white woven labels that had been used since the 1950s were replaced with black woven labels, which came to be called "black tags." The "early black tags" from 1970 to 1971 were produced for a short period and are quite rare.
