This is a nostalgic and colorful vintage tin container for BREMNER WAFERS.  The label reads "Bremner Wafers Corp. 1924 by Bremner Bros."   The Bremner Biscuit Company, founded in Chicago, IL introduced the Bremner Wafer in 1902. The Bremner Biscuit Company, also known as Bremner Brothers Biscuit Company, was founded after its predecessor, a baking business started by David Francis Bremner in 1865.  The crackers were known for their delicate texture and mild, neutral flavor, making them popular for pairing with wine, cheese, and other fine foods.  

The company introduced its iconic green tins in the early 1930s, making this an iconic addition to a vintage advertising or vintage kitchenware collection.

The tin originally contained 12 oz. of product.  (The tin is currently empty.)  It measures approximately 6.5 inches tall and is approximately 6 inches in diameter.  

This item is in very good vintage condition with no visible dents and only minor scratches.  There is a small amount of rust on the exposed metal (mainly the seams).  The lid is functional.  This item would likely benefit from a good cleaning.  (I have not cleaned the tin.)  See photos.
