This beautiful Murano glass bowl measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 12" in diameter. It weighs approximately 2 pounds and 4 ounces. It has pink and white ribbons with thin threads of metallic aventurine on each side of the twisted pink stripes. The base has an interesting pontil; it is raised like a button and crimped all the way around and is about 1 3/4" in diameter. I don't know the maker or exact age of this piece. I didn't find a signature. It does glow green under UV light. It is in great condition. On the edge of the pontil there is a flat area that I believe occurred when the piece was made. Probably when broken off the rod during the glass blowing process. There is a closeup in the last photo. There are no other issues, no chips or cracks. There are some surface marks and wear.
