The Nias ancestor statue, also known as "adu" figure, hails from Indonesia's Pacific Islands. Made of wood in a rich brown color, these statues represent the culture and traditions of the Nias people. With intricate detailing and historical significance, they are an important piece of ethnographic art reflecting the beliefs and practices of the indigenous communities in the region.
