The new "Yani Ligature" (nicknamed "Yani Nico-chan") features a design reminiscent of Yanagisawa's popular "Magic Riga-chan" ligature, and a design reminiscent of a smiling face.
Four small oval surfaces contact the reed for a firm grip. The moderate resistance produces a light, clear tone with a warm, well-balanced sound. The oar-like shape makes it easy to grip, with a single-screw reverse-locking mechanism. Its excellent response makes it an attractive ligature with excellent overall balance. It can be used in a variety of musical settings, including solo, chamber music, and ensembles. Available in soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone sizes.
