The Gate to the Mind’s Eye is Thomas Dolby’s 1994 soundtrack to the computer-animated film of the same name, reissued in 2025 by Music On Vinyl (catalog MOVLP3917, barcode 8719262039278). This limited edition pressing is on 180g silver-colored audiophile vinyl, housed in a picture sleeve with gold hype sticker and insert. Only 750 individually numbered copies were produced. The album blends moody electronic instrumentals, experimental dance tracks, and 1930s pop pastiche, with vocals on five of the nine tracks—including contributions from astrophysicist Dr. Fiorella Terenzi.
