A first edition of Upton Sinclair's social commentary on high society, depicting "the excesses and moral decay of New York City's wealthy elite through the story of Allan Montague, a young Southern lawyer who moves to the city to make his name."  A nice copy with some light wear from age (ownership mark to the first page, some light weakening to the rear hinge).  Published in a similar-looking binding to "The Jungle."  See pictures for a closer look!
