For your consideration this vintage Art Deco Style ladies watch band watchband.  It has its patent number on the back and upon looking it up, it was patented Oct 26 1937.

Photo shows the length.  A magnet will not stick to the chain part, but will the center piece and the end attachments.  I don’t know if it is gold filled chain or not.
