ITEM DESCRIPTION

I try to describe the items as accurately as possible quoting part numbers where known and applications taken from supplier catalogues or websites. If you notice a mistake in my listing please let me know so that I can correct it. 

Please check the description and photograph carefully to ensure the item you are buying is what you need.

I am not running a business selling car spares despite Ebay having unilaterally deciding that I must be a business. Most of the items I am selling come from having driven classic cars for over 35 years and hoarding anything I thought would be useful to keep them on the road.

PAYMENT

I prefer to be paid by paypal as this makes things quicker all round although I will accept sterling cheques drawn on a UK bank or cash on collection.

POSTING

I try to post the day after payment is received but sometimes due to work commitments I can sometimes only get to a Post Office on a Saturday or Monday and post by 1st class UK post or Small Packet airmail unless otherwise stated. If you require insurance please ask, otherwise posting is done at buyers own risk.

The postage where quoted will include a small amount to cover packaging material and other commission charges made by this website related to postage. For most items I post this will be no more than £1.50 but occasionally it could be more.

If not quoted please enquire for postage to overseas destinations. As a guide up to 2kg costs around £25 to Europe and up to £46 for other worldwide destinations subject to maximum dimensions. Items over 2 kg may cost substantially more as they have to be sent by DHL or similar couriers.

Due to a few buyers claiming they have not received items I regret that in future ( from 28 Jan 2013) items will be posted by Tracker 48 hr or Special Delivery within the UK and either International Signed For or Tracked and Signed For depending on what is available when Overseas and the extra charge will be added to invoices after bidding ends unless listing already shows postage rates by these methods.

In all cases Insurance costs are extra.IF YOU DO NOT REQUEST INSURANCE THEN YOU ARE ACCEPTING ALL RISKS SHOULD THE PACKAGE NOT ARRIVE OR IS DAMAGED IN THE POST.

New internal UK tariffs from 2nd April 2013 make it very difficult to calculate what it will cost to post parcels unless items are boxed up and wrapped prior to listing. To keep your postage costs to a minimum I regret that I will try to use the smallest boxes the item will fit into.

I very much regret having to impose these conditions relating to postage but the latest changes to postage tariffs in the UK combined with Ebay's rules on posting items are making it very difficult for ordinary sellers like myself to continue to sell via ebay.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted if the goods are faulty  or the item sent is not the item listed and the seller has been contacted to agree to accept the return. 

If available seller retains option to replace the faulty item rather than give a refund.

Items must be returned with the original packaging and in the same condition as sent.

Postage will only be refunded if the above conditions are complied with.

If you buy an item and change your mind then any refund will only be for the goods value only.

Items listed as "job lots" are sold as seen and described and are non returnable.
