There are about 200 35mm slides in this lot, plus a Logan De Luxe metal storage or carrying case for 35 mm slides. The case, first of all, has numbered slots for 150 slides, laid out in six rows of 25 each, and it comes with an index card that just fits nicely inside the lid. It is in solid and functional condition, but with some scuffs and stains and pressure marks on the cover, especially on the bottom and around the edges. The clasp and hinges and handle all work fine, but there are some light rust spots on the clasp. There is no actual manufacturer identification on the case itself, but the index card has the following printed at the bottom "No. 110-115-1500 Logan De Luxe 2 x 2 Slide File."
The index card has been partly filled in, with the subject matter including many destinations in the American West, for instance Mount Rushmore, the Petrified Forest, the Badlands and "Custer Battlefield." With many of the slots double-filled, there are about 200 slides in the case, so many more than are listed in the index. I've picked out a few and looked at them, and the content of the first four rows seems to generally match what's written on the index card. The fifth row has no slides, but the row on the far left seems to contain slides of Mediterranean locations, possibly Italy or Greece.

Oh, and if you're interested in just the slides without the case - or the case without the slides - please feel free to contact us with a reasonable offer and we'll try to accommodate.
