Synopsis:

In this issue the multiverse fractures open as the twisted saga of Gotham’s darkest night takes voluntary detours into vignettes of horror and absurdity: from the origins of the tyrannical Robin King to the nightmarish transformation of a Bat-brain into a dinosaur robot, from the sentient city known as Castle Bat to a world where the Batmobile itself becomes a monstrous overlord. The anthology structure emphasizes the mythos of the The Batman Who Laughs’ Dark Multiverse war, unpacking the full scale of the threat and the breadth of the threat’s creations while expanding the original event into a meta-catalog of dread and invention. The series is important not just as tie-in filler but as a cultural pivot — showing that event comics can be expansive enough to embrace experimental formats and existential horror, deepening how superhero stories can evolve in tone and breadth.

Shipping:

Unless noted, raw comics ship individually bagged and boarded. Up to 6 Standard 32 page comics (3 Oversize) will be packed in a magazine bag, sandwiched with cardboard and shipped in a rigid mailer. Orders of over 6 Standard or 3 Oversize comics will be packed securely and ship boxed. There is a limit of 2 Standard with 2 Oversize comic books to a mailer.
