That's why we've designed a more sustainable line, Beddinghouse Care, that consists of sustainable new qualities, including organic cotton. Beddinghouse Basics are made from organic cotton with GOTS certification. The international Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) means that the entire production process - from harvest to end product - is environmentally friendly and socially responsible. This includes, no use of pesticides, lower water and energy consumption, a ban on child labour, and a safe and hygienic working environment. Not only is organic cotton better for the planet, it is also more wear-resistant and gentler on sensitive skin. The GOTS standard reflects care for people and the planet. We bring this new collection in FSC cardboard packaging. This means that the raw material for the packaging comes from responsibly managed forests. This packaging is a lot more durable and can simply be disposed of with the old paper so that it can be recycled again. The elastic band around the packaging, can be reused.
