This is an original press photo. Terminal bucket unloads sugar from Dutch ship. A couple of weeks ago, the public bulk terminal loaded or unloaded 10 ships and 24 barges during a fairly routine week's operation. The huge facility on the Mississippi River Gulf Outlet, across Almonaster Avenue from the city dump, is a network of 10 storage tanks, three ship berths, multiple conveyor belts and switching towers, nine ship - unloading buckets with up to 15-ton bites and a spouted ship loader.Photo measures 7.75 x 10inches.
