VINTAGE VARSITY LETTER

Vintage curly, coiled chenille mounted on felted layers varsity letter "R" for a sweater or jacket dating to around the 1960s-1970s. Measuring about 4-3/4" tall by 4-5/8" wide, it has a the letter "F" stitched into the center as shown - colors are gold on white on black.

Condition is very nice with no fraying, discoloration or tears -- does not appear to have ever been uniform mounted - trace paper and notation on the back as shown. Just a neat vintage piece of sports memorabilia - fun addition to any collection or display!
