Zum Verkauf steht eine extrem seltene Leica M6 aus der Pre-Serie, auch 0-Serie genannt. Diese Kamera stammt noch aus der Zeit vor der offiziellen Markteinführung der M6 und gehört damit zu einem winzigen Batch von nur etwa 30 bis 50 Testkameras. Bereits Kameras aus den allerersten Serien haben auf Auktionen hohe Preise erzielt: eine frühe Seriennummer (1657252) wurde bei der Leitz Auction für 6.600 € verkauft, ein weiteres Exemplar aus dem ersten Produktionsjahr erzielte 7.800 €. Unser angebotene Modell ist durch seine Herkunft aus der Vorserie noch seltener und für Sammler von besonderem Wert.
Die Kamera weist deutliche, aber authentische Gebrauchsspuren auf und wurde in früherer Zeit einmal durch den Leica Customer Care gewartet. Dabei wurde auch die Belederung erneuert. Der Verschluss läuft zuverlässig und klingt in seiner Abfolge sehr gut, der Sucher ist klar und befindet sich in einem gepflegten Zustand. An der Rückwand finden sich sichtbare Abnutzungen, und der Aufzugshebel sitzt leicht locker, was die Funktionalität jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt.
Zum Lieferumfang gehören ein Gehäusedeckel sowie ein Tragriemen. Dieses seltene Stück Leica-Geschichte ist weit mehr als nur eine Kamera – es ist ein einzigartiges Sammlerstück für Liebhaber, die Wert auf Originalität und historische Bedeutung legen.

For sale is an extremely rare Leica M6 from the pre-series, also known as the 0-series. This camera dates back to before the official launch of the M6 and is one of only a tiny batch of around 30 to 50 test cameras. Cameras from the very first series have already fetched high prices at auction: an early serial number (1657252) sold for €6,600 at the Leitz Auction, while another model from the first year of production fetched €7,800. The model we are offering is even rarer due to its pre-series origin and is of particular value to collectors.
The camera shows clear but authentic signs of use and was once serviced by Leica Customer Care. The leather covering was also renewed at that time. The shutter runs reliably and sounds very good in its sequence, the viewfinder is clear and in good condition. There is visible wear on the back panel, and the winding lever is slightly loose, but this does not affect its functionality.
The scope of delivery includes a body cap and a carrying strap. This rare piece of Leica history is much more than just a camera—it is a unique collector's item for enthusiasts who value originality and historical significance.
