Here we have one of several items added today.
This French rabbit automaton has a great shape and red painted back glass eyes, embroidered nose detail and holds a pair of cymbals.
Sadly he does not work, his key turns but nothing happens most likely an overwound spring.
As he is in such good clean condition I assume he has been stored away after he no longer worked.
The rabbit measures 11" high.
A nice decorative addition to any antique toy display.
