Members of the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association in session at the Roosevelt Hotel Thursday approved a pilot Peace Corps program to recruit U.S. lawyers for legal projects in four African nations. A pilot Peace Corps program to recruit 40 or more United States lawyers for legal projects in four African nations was approved here Thursday by the Board of Governors of the American Bar Association. The Peace Corps, in a letter to ABA president Sylvester C. Smith Jr., said that 30 of the volunteers would be assigned to Nigeria, Sierra Leone and West Cameroon. Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
