Product Description: This device prevents power banks and chargers from shutting down during power consumption testing. It also functions as a load to draw current, preventing power banks from shutting down due to insufficient current. Most power banks detect no current or minimal current as equivalent to a fully charged phone or disconnected cable, automatically shutting down after tens of seconds to several minutes. This module maintains the power bank's operational state by sustaining a constant additional current draw. This product uses a USB-A interface. By plugging or unplugging jumper caps, you can switch between four current consumption levels: 25mA, 50mA, 75mA, and 150mA. These can be freely combined to adjust according to your power bank's actual situation. If it cannot maintain power-on, simply add another jumper cap. For example, inserting at the 50mA position consumes 50mA of current. If the power bank shuts down, add another jumper cap at 25mA or another setting until the current sustains the power bank's operation. The maximum achievable current is 150mA + 75mA + 50mA + 25mA = 300mA.
Important Notes
1. This product consumes power from the power bank itself and typically depletes it within a few days. Therefore, it is not suitable for applications requiring extended standby periods.
2. Current estimation method: Power consumption must account for voltage conversion and conversion losses. Lithium batteries convert 3.7V to 5V output at 74% efficiency. Assuming 80% boost efficiency, this results in 74% × 80% = 59%. Additionally, power banks over six months old typically experience capacity degradation; a combined 50% efficiency can be applied. Example: At a 100mA current (sufficient to keep the power bank operational), hourly power consumption is 200mAh. A 20000mAh power bank can sustain operation for approximately 100 hours.
3. This product lacks data signal functionality and therefore cannot activate fast charging.
