I purchased a roll of quarters at a hotel to do laundry and received a roll of uncirculated Tallchief quarters…in other words, the nicks, etc. on the coin’s surface were mint-generated. Instead of “In God We Trust,” this quarter reads “In COD (I giggle every time I read in cod!). In addition, the words “In Cod…” MAY indicate double-die-obverse (pls see pics—incl close-up of nose). I am on the fence about obverse doubling but does appear nose has a DD “halo.” (LOTS of pics for the more experienced out there looking for DDOs.) N.B. Please do not allow my lack of sales on this acct to scare you away: I have been an eBay member since (literally) day two but had to abandon my decades old acct after my Apple ID** was hacked (along with all Gmail accts, apps, etc.). Any attempt to resurrect my old EBay/other accts continue to be swiftly thwarted by the same person (her copy of my old device is likely “recognized” by Apple which allows for continued access to everything I had on that phone). I have begun anew…I have a different iPhone with new ph#, Apple ID, new Apple/Gmail, etc. email addresses, new app accts., etc. I began collecting coins when my husband of 30 years literally walked out the door without warning, and I needed an inexpensive way (poorly paid teacher) to keep my mind active and away from “life” when kids were staying with their dad, so I began coin roll hunting/cherry picking. Affording life (basic essentials) as a single mom (daughter is 15 and son sophomore in college on football scholarship) has become quite challenging, so I’ve decided it’s time to begin selling some of the coins I’ve found over the past three years. (My daughter says I tend to “over-share” but wish to deliver explanation for what appears to be a new-ish EBay user/acct.) ** NOT true that simply changing your Apple password “fixes” hack—if hacker syncs through iTunes or other sync methods (Home??), a new password does nothing to stop subsequent data syncs…only remedy is new everything. Any questions, please feel free to reach out. I’ve some quick tricks to employ that assist users in discerning whether or not their Apple device is cloned. (Coin - Tallchief #1)
