The reverse of the coin was designed by Michael Noakes and Robert Elderton and features a portrait of Charles alongside a thirty-three word inscription of the aims and ideals of The Prince of Wales’ Trust. "Inspiring young people to succeed"
This is the longest inscription to have ever been used on a British coin.
The Prince of Wales’ Trust is a charitable organisation established by Prince Charles to further the interests of young people.
The obverse features Ian Rank-Broadley’s portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
